The world football body, FIFA has banned the Vice- President of the Congo Football Association, Jean Guy Blaise Mayolas and his and secretary general Badji Mombo Wantete for six months respectively.
The six-month immediate ban by Fifa on the two is being served already. The BBC reports that the two will serve only 45 days, which is the remaining time of their punishment.
This is due to the fact that the pair were already serving provisional suspensions.
They Mayolas and Wantete were found guilty of breaking Fifa rules in relation to "offering and accepting gifts and other benefits".
