Arsenal legend, Robert Pires has said that Thierry Henry could become the next Arsenal manager once Arsene Wenger steps down.
Henry is currently at Arsenal, where he won a lot of honours including three Premier League titles and now working at obtaining his coaching badges with the U-19 side.
As a result, his fellow Frenchman Pires believes Henry could take over the club he made himself an icon at once Wenger calls time on his Arsenal job.
"Can I see Thierry Henry taking over Arsene Wenger? Yes, why not?" Pires told Omnisport via Goal.com.
"He is working on his badges. He is involved with the U19 team at Arsenal academy. He is preparing himself step by step. He wants to get his badges.
"Question is: would Arsenal want Thierry Henry? It depends on the board, the chairman. I can see Thierry Henry, as well as Patrick Vieira. It's up to the club to prepare well for the post-Arsene era. That's crucial."

Pires stoked the speculations fire by stating that Vieira, who was few days ago named manager of MLS side New York City FC, could return to play a role at Arsenal one day as well.
