Stonebwoy And Wiyaala Make Ghana Proud At 2015 All Africa Music Awards

Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy and Wiyaala lifted the flag of Ghana high on Sunday after winning the Best Reggae/Dancehall and Best Video respectively at the All Africa Music Awards 2015 in Nigeria.

The award comes after Stonebwoy, born Livingstone Etse Satekla also won three awards at the 2015 MTN 4Syte Music Video Awards at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday.

Stonebwoy took home the ‘Best Reggae/Dancehall Video’, ‘Best Directed Video’ and ‘Most Influential Artiste’ at the 4Syte Music Video awards event.

This is the second time Wiyaala, born Noella Wiyaaka, has won awards at the AFRIMA. In 2014 she won two awards at the maiden edition of the awards held in Lagos, Nigeria.

Other winners of the night at the AFRIMA awards are:

Diamond Platnumz who took home the award for Artist of the Year and Song of the Year in AfrNasema Nawe  respectively. Black LadySmith Mambosa received the Lifetime Achievement Awards, Sautisol for Best African Pop and Bets Group respectively.

Cassper Nyovest received two awards- Best Male Southern Africa and Best African Artiste (HipHop)

AKA for Best African Collaboration and Busiswa for Best Female Southern Africa, CharlotteDPA ‪for  Album of the year, Praiz for Best R&B and Soul Artiste, Betty Akna for Best Female Artiste in Inspirational and Darey for Best Male Artiste (Inspirational Category)

The other winners include Vanessa Mdee who worn the award for Best African Pop Artiste.
