Black Stars Coach Avram Grant is already looking over his shoulders ahead of the second league encounter with Comoros in the 2018 World cup qualifiers at the Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi on Tuesday.
The first leg ended 0-0 in the Comoros Island with Ghana believed to have been left off the hook as a ‘good goal’ against them was judged to be off-side by the referee.
And according to Grant the AFCON MVP Christian Atsu’s absence which is due to his injury has had a toll on his team ahead of the second leg encounter against Comoros.
The Chelsea player who is on loan at Bournemouth is yet to feature for the promoted Premier League side this season after picking up an injury while on international duty couple of months back.
Grant whose team of talented players misfired at goal right under his watch feels his team failed to create chances in the absence of Atsu in the 0-0 draw game against Comoros and says he is missing the services of the slippery winger.
The Black Stars are gearing up to play the Comoro team in Kumasi in a game which they look likely to win but must put up a good fight to achieve that.
