The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has urged the Black Stars to beat Comoros in their World cup qualifier today at the Baba Yara stadium and advance to the group stage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu welcomed the team to Kumasi when the Black Stars team paid a courtesy call on him at the Manhyia palace.
The Ashanti king then tasked the team to make up for last Friday’s goalless draw in the first leg match played in Moroni by winning convincingly today.
He also expressed optimism that the Black Stars will make a fourth successive qualification to the World Cup and hopefully win it this time around.
On his part, skipper Asamoah Gyan thanked the Asantehene for his words of advice and support for the team over the years.
He assured Ghanaians the team’s total commitment and preparedness to win today’s game and make it into the next stage of the qualifiers.
Meanwhile, a report monitored says the players are in high spirits ahead of the game.
