Islamic State militants have issued a warning on Monday to America and Europe in a new video that countries taking part in air strikes against Syria would suffer the same fate as France.
They also threatened to attack Washington in the video, which appeared on a website used by Islamic State to post its messages.
The message was delivered by a man identified as Al Ghareeb the Algerian to countries involved in what it called the "crusader campaign".
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security said it has not received information indicating a potential attack and would not comment on the video.
Meanwhile, France whose police raided homes of suspected Islamist militants across France overnight says it has no plans of abandoning its air raids on Islamic States in Syria and Iraq following what they call an act of war.
They are also collaborating with U.S forces to launch their biggest raids in Syria since Sunday, against Raqqa which is believed to be the IS strong hold.
