Ghana Boost, As Andre Is Named Swansea Player Of The Month

The Ghana team has received a morale booster ahead of the 2018 World Cup second leg clash with Comoros, as the deputy Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew has been named as English club side, Swansea City’s player for the month of October.

Dede saw off competition from defender Neil Taylor and England midfielder Jonjo Shelvey for the monthly award.

This is the second player of the month award he is picking having clinched the maiden August award   after joining the Swans in the summer as a free agent following his contract expiration at  French side, Marseille.

The 26 year old Ghanaian has been one of the best players in the Swansea City set up this season and is already courting some interests from the bigger teams like Liverpool and Arsenal. He has so far scored five goals with 11 assists and tops it up with some scintillating displays on the field of play.

Andre Ayew who is currently in the Black Stars camp will receive this news as a boost with his colleagues as they gear up for Tuesday’s 2018 world cup second leg encounter against Comoros at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
