The Crime Officer in charge of an assault case at the Airport Police station, Felix Anyidoho, has expressed surprise at Yvonne's disappointment.
Yvonne Nelson’s disappointment follows her accusation that the Airport Police station is not working assiduously to put a man she reported to the Police of an assault case behind bars.
Speaking in an interview with Multi TV's 'Red Carpet Show', Yvonne said, Elvis is walking a free man and granting interviews when he should be facing justice.
“I have no idea; maybe you should go to the Airport Police Station and find out from them. It's a little shady; it's a little weird that they haven't arrested him. I mean, someone who is wanted is granting interviews, how is that possible,” she alleged.
In his repose to Yvonne’s allegation, Mr. Anyidoho said, Yvonne told him three weeks ago while she was assisting the police in investigations and that the Elvis had traveled back to Nigeria.
The crime officer quizzed why the actress should be disappointment and in what sense should Yvonne be disappointed. Mr. Anyidoho in explaining to Hitz News questioned why Yvonne Nelson wants the entire Police force to go to Nigeria and look for just an assault suspect, when it is not a murder suspect . He however noted that since the accused person is in town, the force would call for a meeting between the two.
“So she wants us to go to Nigeria and look for just an assault suspect, is it a murder? The information now is that, the guy is in town so we'll make the two of them come to meet commander and we'll see what we can do,” he added.
It is recalled that in September 2015, Elvis Eze, a Nigerian allegedly assaulted Yvonne Nelson for refusing him a hug at her colleague actress, Ingrid Alabi's birthday party.
According to an eye witness account, Elvis, chased Yvonne to her car and angrily pushed her head.
