African billionaire and entrepreneur Dr Mo Ibrahim is calling on Africans to as a matter of urgency, vote out governments which are corrupt and non-performing.
Addressing a panel at the John Agyekum Kufuor Foundation's 4th Global Development Lecture Series at the University of Ghana in Accra, Mo Ibrahim impressed that Africans should make good use of their democratic power to chose leaders they deem fit to champion sustainable economic and social growth.
Meanwhile, the Sudanese-British born has expressed worry over what he has described as the lack of focus in Africa's agriculture capacity. He has therefore called on leaders to beef up their concentration on the sector saying it was a major source of national development.
The Global Development Lecture Series is a platform for thought leaders to share their views on governance issues and future events.
