Predictions Of Losing 2016 Elections Does Not Scare Us - NDC Replies UK Intelligence Unit

The incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC) has revealed it is less concerned over recent reports by UK-based Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) which predicts that President Mahama will lose the 2016 elections as the party claims Ghanaians will keep the NDC in power to continue the policies and projects they had started since 2012.

Deputy general secretary of the NDC Koku Anyidoho in an interview on Starr FM reveals his party, the NDC is not worried about the details of the predictions.

The EIU in its November edition reveals that the 2016 general elections will be closely fought between the NDC and NPP but the main opposition party will win hands down despite the in-house wrangling in the party stating the outcome of the elections is by ‘no means a foregone conclusion.’ The Unit also mentioned some of the indicators pointing to a one-term presidency for John Mahama include the poor handling of the economy, electricity and fuel shortages, high inflation and currency depreciation.
