NDC Primaries: Kwame Dzokoto Wins Tarkwa-Nsuaem Primaries

Comedian, Seth Kwame Dzokoto, has won the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency in the parliamentary primaries of the NDC polling 1,450 votes against his contender, Thomas Okyere who won 398 votes.

The victory of 'Edziban' makes two media personalities who are seeking a mandate in parliament come 2016.

What this means is that Seth Kwame Dzokoto, once declared parliamentary candidate for the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency will lead the party’s parliamentary campaign ahead of the 2016 general elections.

The NDC primaries has so far been marred by scores of voter register irregularities as thousands of card bearing members had not their names in the register – developments which emanated to scores of violence and bickering.
