NDC Primaries: Sena Okity Duah and Amadu Sorogo Retain Their Seats

The Incumbent NDC MP in the Ledzokuku Constituency, Sena Okity Duah has retained her seat in the  primaries of the ruling National Democratic Congress.

Sena beat her three male contenders in the results.  The results from the Ledzokuku Constituency Results in Teshie Estate North Polling station indicates that Okity Duah polled 254 against Nortey Duah, Daniel Armh and Gilbert Amartey who polled 1,39  and 1 respectively.

It is recalled that Sena was a former deputy Minister of Nana Oye Lithur with Racheal Appoh.

In  a related development, Incumbent Member of Parliament for the Madina constituency Amadu Sorogho has won his bid to contest next year’s general elections on the ticket of the Party in  akeenly contested race with Lawyer Francis Sosu.

Sorogho beat Accra-based Human Rights Lawyer Francis Xavier managing some 1738 votes as against 1486.

The other aspirants Abdul Rahim Aremeyawu, Baba Ibrahim Mohammed polled 454 and 210 respectively.
