Godfather of Hiplife, seems to be a new expert on musicians splitting from groups and some joining other groups to rebrand the group.
This stems from the fact that Reggie is now recommending for the new Praye Group to consider Dr. Cryme as a replacement for Choirmaster who used to be known as Praye Honeho.
Reggie Rockstone believes Dr. Cryme is a perfect replacement for Choirmaster, former leader of Hiplife group, Praye.
Choirmaster has been in news lately for his refusal to reunite with his former colleagues but in an interview, Reggie told Jay Foley and Jeremie on Live Breakfast Club that the Twi Pop rapper has the ‘rap flair’ to set the once vibrant group in motion.
Choirmaster has been very clear about the fact that he has moved on and is concentrating on his solo career. He has insisted that if there is any possibility at all in the future to work with the group again, it would have to be on contract basis.
Rockstone commended the comeback of the duo, Cartel Big J and Praye Tintin and further urged the new Praye group to consider Dr. Cryme.
In a related development, Reggie has also suggested that Promzy should join Trigmatic, so the two can form a group.
In his latest interview on YFM, Reggie noted that his reason being that Promzy is lyrically gifted like him.
Reggie Rockstone is the latest addition to the former VIP group after Promzy, a former member of the group left the group. Reggie’s addition to the group changed its name from VIP to VVIP. Perhaps, his experience with the new group could be the basis for his recommendation.
