As reported yesterday, Captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan, celebrated his 30 years on earth in an unforgettable style.
The day was marked with a plush birthday party at his reported $3m mansion at Weija, Accra.
The strictly by invite and star-studded party saw the likes of Black Stars coach Avram Grant, President of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi, former Ghana international Stephen Appiah, Allsports.com.gh Editor Godfred Akoto Boafo, Lydia Forson, Yvonne Okoro, Comedian DKB,Dr. Kofi Amoah and many others from the sports fraternity and relations of the Captain attending.
At the party, Asamoah Gyan is reported to have caught attention with his dancing moves and singing prowess. Comedian DKB and Kwaisey Pee also spiced the party up with comedy and music. The Shanghai SIPG player, announced a $30,000 package to the Black Queens team for winning the 2015 All Africa Games.
This was to honour a promise Gyan made to queens when he met them in Brazaville as the Stars went to play a friendly game against Congo’s national football team to commission their newly constructed 60,000 capacity stadium. The Shanghai SIPG lynchpin gave the Queens $10,000 in Congo to boost their morale prior to the All Africa games when he realized the girls were ill motivated extrinsically.
Currently, the Black Stars captain is now one of the big earners in world football with his reported weekly wage at Shanghai SIPG running into over $300,000.
