The thugs destroyed items in his living room worth thousands of cedis.
According to him he was not home when the incident occurred; Nii Noi’s mother who sensed danger raised alarm, causing the hooligans to speed off on their motor bikes. The police who were called in, responded quickly but got to the scene after the criminals had left.
In an interview with Accra based Kasapa Fm, Nii Noi said “The criminals called my mum on phone and started threatening her, out of fear she handed the phone to us and I put the phone on loud speaker for the police officers to listen in, they warned me to step down and allow Lawyer Addison to be the Parliamentary candidate for the area. They said I should be grateful to the Almighty and that if they had found me, I would have been dead by now.”
The police have begun investigations into the matter.
