Head Porter At Tarkwa Caught With 15 Parcels Of Narcotics

A head porter , Okeji Omotosho has been sentenced 11 years imprisonment with hard labour by an Accra Circuit Court for the illegal possession of narcotic drugs.

Court reports do indicate that  Okeji Omotosho who lives at Okaishie, was spotted around midnight carrying two heavy bags, upon suspicion of having stolen the bags, Okeji got searched and finally caught with the said 15 compressed dried leaves.

Chief Superintendent of Police Duuti Tuaruka further reveals the head potter got whisked to the Tarkwa Police Station where he was processed and finally handed over to the courts. On interrogation Okeji claimed ownership of the stuff and stated in his investigation caution statement that he was hired by one Alaja to convey it to Okaishie.

Meanwhile police  in Tarkwa say they are furthering investigations into the possible accomplices of Okeji.
