On Monday, Mzbel posted photos of herself without make up and noted that the shot was inspired by her team.
Also the singer suggested that she took the shot for her Foundation. Mzbel further added that it took a lot of courage for her to go back to this look. She wrote “Had to do this for my Foundation “Straight Out Of Jamestown” as suggested by my team… it took a lot of courage to go back to this look but the memories it brings is priceless… Jamestown and Proud! Jamestown Forever! Tag a Proud Ghetto fella.”
In a related development, the singer known in private life as Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah has explained why she fired her nanny when she gave birth three years ago.
According to Mzbel in one of the episodes of her television reality show; Bel and the City; “I fired my nanny because she was getting into my business and I just had to let her go. What she was doing was just too much so I did what I had to do.”
After she left, the latter said, she had to do everything herself so far as taking care of a home and a child was concerned.
“Ever since she left, I have been doing everything on my own. Now I do all the house chores, I do the cleaning, the sweeping, checking on the kids and trust me, it is not easy being a mother,” she said.
Mzbel is currently championing a cause to help put an end to the current power crisis that Ghana is facing. She is embarking on an educational campaign dubbed Stop Illegal Connection.
A nanny is a child-minder, child care provider, or mother’s helper or an individual who provides care for one or more children in a family as a service.
