ACEP Reveals Ghanaians Pay The Highest Utility Bills In West Africa

Executive Director of the Africa Center for Energy Policy, Mohammed Amin Adam has revealed that Ghanaians pay the highest utility tariffs ever in West Africa.

Speaking against the possible increment in the price of utility tariffs by the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission PURC, Mohammed Amin Adam explained that higher tariffs been paid by Ghanaians would not have to be worsened through the decision by the commission.

Meanwhile the  Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has revealed the constant depreciation of the cedi is the main reason they are  asking for  a 100 percent increment in tariffs.
