Moving Train Cuts Off Man's Head At Sekondi Takoradi

A moving train has cut off the head of a man believed to be in his mid-fifties, identified as Kobina Ackon at the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis in the Western Region.

Residents of  Nkotompo, near the Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital say the head of Kobina Ackon was found in-between the rail tracks in the early hours of the morning as eyewitnesses report the accident could have occurred at night while he was trying to cross the rail line.

Residents At The Accident Scene With Man Covered With Plantain Leaves

Following the limited existence of reasons for the accident, police at the Western Region say they are mounting investigations into the decapitation of Kobina as they refuse giving further details over the accident.

The accident follows several others including the chopping off of the head of a man at Takoradi in 2014 with the latest being that of a lady at Kwame Nkrumah Circle.
