Mahama Reveals Higher Tarrifs On Power Continues Until Ghanaians Report Cases Of Power Theft

President John Dramani Mahama has warned that Ghanaians would continue paying more for electricity until they are bold enough to report persons involved in power theft.

A study by the Emerging Markets Smart Grid reveals the world loses US$89.3 billion annually to electricity theft - a development which makes the act of stealing power a criminal offense punishable by fines and incarceration in Ghana and elsewhere across the world.
