Nana Yaa Opens Up On How Pat Thomas Abandoned Her

Daughter of Highlife legend, Nana Yaa in a recent interview has revealed her dad abandoned her and her brother in Liberia for over seven years.

According to her, the hurt and the pain she felt, led her not to talk to her dad, Pat Thomas for years.

In an interview with live FM’s Kwesi Yaa told Kofi Okyere Darko, Nana Yaa indicated that this was a result of her father’s abandonment of her and her late brother with their mother in Liberia. She added that for over seven years during her stay in Liberia, she never heard from her Dad, pat Thomas who abandoned them and ended up in Germany.

The singer also blamed her father for the cause of his brother, who she says dies in Liberia, after Pat Thomas refused to call them or look for them,

Nana yaa added  the hurt and pain  she felt  led her to decide not to talk to dad. She added that for years she never wanted to know anything about her dad  due to the fact that she felt deserted.

She noted that she used to be close with her dad before the move to Liberia and she felt angry and hurt

Nana Yaa who has been trying to revive her music career after childbirth in the interview spoke about her career, personal life and future goals.

 Nana is  currently working on a new musical project which she says will likely feature  appearances by her dad, 2FaceIdibia, E.L , Irene Logan, Kojo Antwi, Wizkid and Brymo.
