Mahama Ordered To Apologize To Minority MPs Over 'Sleeping-On-The-Job' Comment

President Mahama has been ordered to apologize to minority members of parliament over comments he made that they (the minority in parliament) were 'sleeping on the job.'

Speaking on CitiFM in Accra, deputy minority of parliament, Dominic Nitiwul expressed that President Mahama had insulted minority members over the said statement.

The comments by Dominic Nitiwul follows the boycott of the budget hearing on the floor of parliament by minority members of parliament - a development which is feared to cause an imminent government shutdown considering the fact that parliament remains without a quorum.
