Rawlings Predicts Mahama Could Lose 2016 Elections

Former President Jerry John Rawlings has revealed that the ''bad image'' of President John Dramani Mahama is likely to cost the National Democratic Congress (NDC) victory in the 2016 presidential and parliamentary elections.

In an interview with Metro TV in Accra, Jerry Rawlings lamented that the stark corruption in the John Mahama administration had never ceased and that severe steps would have to be taken to root out the cancer.

In the meantime, President John Dramani Mahama is expected to make known his political plans ahead of the 2016 elections as high ranking members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) impress on him to fasten the process of choosing the right vice presidential candidate before the end of the year.
