Black Stars coach Avram Grant has voted Andre Ayew to become the 2015 BBC African Player of the Year a few hours before polls are closed on Monday, 6:00pm local time.
Andre is up against players like Yaya Toure, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Sadio Mane and Yacine Brahimi for the award organized by the British broadcaster.
Ayew is in with a chance to win the accolade for the second time after grabbing the award Having won the award in 2011, the deputy Black Stars captain is gunning for the award the second time.
Over one million supporters scattered all over the world are expected to place their votes.
Andre Ayew is considered a strong contender for the award following his explosive start into just his debut season in the English Premier League.
He has so far scored six goals despite not being an out-and-out striker and was deservedly named August's Player of the Month in the English top flight.
