Let My Vote Count Secures Victory Against Police Over Demo Injunctions

The Ghana Police has been stopped by the Human Rights Court from securing an injunction against demonstrations by pressure groups - a legal ban which closely follows a suit filed by pressure group 'Let My Vote Count Alliance' over demonstrations against the voters' register.

The decision of the Court on Monday means that the Ghana Police cannot stop any demonstration with an order from whichever Circuit Court in the country.

The court decision gives all pressure groups the free legal will to embark on whichever protestation they wish to embark on.
