GNPC Pays Ex Gratia To Tsatsu Tsikata And Four Others

The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation(GNPC) has agreed to the approved payment of ex-gratia to former chief executive, Tsatsu Tsikata and four others including Nana Boakye Asafu-Adjaye (Ag. Chief Executive); Mr. Benjamin Dagadu (Field Evaluation and Development Manager); and Ms. Esther Cobbah (Public Affairs Manager) stating the delay in the payments was due to specific managerial circumstances.

Though the statement does not mention the amount expected to be paid the former GNPC heads, minority spokesperson on Energy and Mines, K.T. Hammond reveals that Mr. Tsikata will receive about GH¢. 1 million - describing the payment as “sickening.”
