Black Stars coach Avram Grant has expressed believe in his deputy Maxwell Konadu and the rest of his backroom staff.
Speaking at a press conference in Accra Monday, the Israeli said he has no intention of making any changes to his support team.
"I am comfortable with Maxwell Konadu as my assistant and my staff; Maxwell did a very good job because he is the contact man for the local players.
"I am very comfortable with the staff both the local staff and the ones abroad. Everyone had to do a good job for the Black Stars and if they don’t I will gently tell them to step away,” he said.
Avram Grant also opined that the senior male national team of Ghana, Black Stars has been impressive in his first year in charge.
He noted that the Black Stars has met his expectation, despite the negative reports he heard about the team before he assumed post.
“The team has impressed me. Before I came they told me Ghana's mentality that they lack collective formation. They said so many negative things, but I didn’t want to listen, because I decided to dwell on the positives.”
“Although we’ve had so many difficult times, we make sure that we have good mentality to overcome them,” he added.
Avram Grant was appointed coach of the Black Stars November 2014 and has been at the helm of affairs for a year.
