Former TV3 Presenter Nana Aba Anamoah has joined the Multimedia Broadcasting Group.
According to enewsgh.com Miss Anamoah will officially start work December 1. The deal is strictly on part-time basis the report said.
Nana Aba Anamoah left her former job under bizarre circumstances early November after a storm of controversy between her and management of Media General, owners of the Kanda-based station (TV3).
Nana Aba sparked a Twitter storm when pictures she tweeted suggesting she was at Old Trafford to watch her favorite team Manchester United were not hers and that she was not at the stadium during the game.
A statement signed by the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Augustus Dickson October 3 said “After preliminary investigations internally, and in accordance with TV3’s own commitment to the highest level of professionalism, management has decided to take Nana Aba Anamoah off air until further notice."
Management of TV3 issued a strong-worded statement making public their decision to stop the female news anchor and presenter from hosting on-air programmes after she was alleged to have been involved in what was said to be online information theft.
She subsequently resigned from TV3.
Her new job will see her take on a dual role on both radio (JOY FM) and television (JOY News, which runs on the Multi TV platform).
