NPP Spent $4bn HIPC Funds On Build Public Toilets - Avedzi Reveals

Chairman of parliament's finance committee, James Klutse Avedzi has revealed that the NPP administration under the regime of ex-president John Agyekum Kuffuor spent $4 billion of funds from the Highly Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC) on public toilets.

Reacting to the critique by Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on the 2016 budget, James Klutse Avedzi revealed the NPP wasted much resources on irrelevant public spending.

Mr Avedzi has however advised Dr Bawumia to rise above petty politicking, thus charging him to be reasonable in his economic analysis against government.
