Mahama To Hold Talks With Chinese President At China-Africa Cooperation Summit In South Africa

President John Dramani Mahama has touched down in South Africa to participate in the Johannesburg Summit of the Forum on China Africa Cooperation.

The president is expected to hold bilateral talks with the Chinese leader, Xi Jinping on issues bothering political and developmental cooperation between the two countries.

The Forum which starts on Friday December 4, includes a China-Africa Equipment and Manufacturing Industry Exhibition as President Mahama will address the Forum on Saturday.

Meanwhile, first lady Lordina Mahama who accompanied the president will in her capacity as President of the Organisation of African First Ladies Against AIDS (OAFLA) co-host an HIV & AIDS side event with the First Lady of China and the First Lady of South Africa.
