Security Analyst Predicts Ghana Could Suffer War And Violence In 2016

Security Analyst, Kwesi Aning

Security Analyst at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre, Dr. Emmanuel Kwesi Aning has predicted that the year 2016 would be fraught with wars and violence considering the high stakes in the presidential and parliamentary elections.

At a public lecture organized by the KAIPTC in collaboration with the Irish Embassy on the topic “Irish Peacekeeping: Over 50 years of service," the security expert feared that the ongoing violence within the two major political parties (NDC and NPP), if not checked now could destabilize the peace and security Ghana has been enjoying since 1992.
