Reggie N Zippy, made up of popular Ghanaian singer, Reggie Zippy and Bollie, made XFactor history as the first purely African export to make it to the finals of the hit reality TV show.
Reggie N Bollie were the first to be announced for the finals on Sunday night’s result show live on ITV. They were later joined by Louisa as Che Chesterman and Lauren Murray sang off for the last spot in the finals. There was a deadlock after the judges voted to save their best performers in the sing off, thus left the decision to the public. Lauren had the least public votes and was therefore evicted leaving the top 3 finalists as Reggie N Bollie, Louisa and Che Chesterman.
Sia received widespread praise for her X Factor performance on the live Semi finals result show, as she took to the stage with her new hit Alive. The outrageous singer was seen floating down in a dramatic wig and giant bow, before landing on a huge glass cage with a half-naked dancer in a nude leotard inside. The star was pitch-perfect throughout as she performed to a standing ovation from the crowd.
Also performing on the night was R&B star Jason Derulo.
