Afoko Finally Sues NPP, Freddie Blay Over Suspension

Suspended National Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Afoko has formally sued the party including its acting Chairman Freddie Blay over his controversial suspension.

Meanwhile the writ filed at the Accra High Court is seeking the court's interpretation of the party's constitution which Paul Afoko argues has been severely violated by the National Executive Committee.

Meanwhile the writ gives the party and Mr. Blay have eight days to respond to the suit - failure to which judgment would be given in default.
