Over 700 SHS Students Suspended Indefinately Over Bullying

Authorities of Sandema Senior High School in the Builsa North district of the Upper East Region have slapped over 700 students with an indefinite suspension for jointly protesting against an earlier suspension of their colleagues for bullying a first year student.

Explaining the motive behind the mass suspension,  Builsa North Ditrist North District director of Education, Clement Abakisi revealed the decision was in line with the statutes of the school.

In the meantime, most students are reported to be left stranded as they claim they have no funds to return home.

Bullying remains banned banned across all schools as the Ministry of Education has directed all heads of school to suspend students who flaunt the directive.
