Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare has charged management of Ethipian Airlines to as a matter of urgency start showing Ghanaians movies on all Ethiopian Airlines flights en-route to Accra.
Following a courtesy call on her in Accra by the General Manager of the Airline in Ghana, Genet Michael, the minister highlighted the need for the airliner to promote Ghanaian culture internationally by going the extra mile of serving Ghanaian dishes aboard flights
Ethiopian Airlines run daily flights to Accra with the most modern aircraft that flies into Ghana, the B787 Dreamliner. The airline has 13 planes and has ordered 10 A350s from Airbus.
Meanwhile Mrs Michael has revealed that management of the Airline are poised to work with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts as part of efforts to bringing more tourists to Ghana. Management of the Airline also extended an invitation to the Minister to enable her visit Ethiopia for the introduction of the Airbus in February next year.
