Some agitated Hearts of Oak supporters are up in arms against the management of the club’s dismissal of their influential midfielder, Emmanuel Hayford.
Hayford, 23, was transfer-listed by the Phobians on the basis of lack of commitment and indiscipline, but the fans insist the management goofed in its decision against a dedicated player.
The fans are plotting to petition majority shareholder and Board Chairman of the club, Togbe Afede latest by Friday.
According a report monitored, the fans plans to call on the Board Chairman to call the management to order and apologise to the boy even if they will not take him back into the team.
A supposed spokesperson of the group, Alhassan Bosingwa said the management must clear the charges of commitment leveled against the youngster and apologise to him.
Meanwhile, the former Amidaus Professionals talented midfielder who joined the club three seasons ago, has sent an emotional open letter to Hearts fans, promising to return stronger via his facebook timeline.
A section of the supporters are questioning the basis for which key players like, Hayford, Selassie Adjei, Kweku Andoh and others could be transfer listed when replacements had not been made.
