Workers Of Korle-Bu Call On CEO To Resign With Immediate Effect

Over 90 percent of Agitated Members of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital Senior Staff Association have passed a vote of no confidence against head of the hospital, Dr. Gilbert Buckle calling on him to resign with immediate following claims of mismanagement and embezzlement.

President of the Senior Staff Association (KOSSA), Charles Ofei-Palm, explained the reasons for the massive call of the CEO's resignation citing claims of the mismanagement of the hospital's internally generated funds.

The CEO is said to have assumed office barely a year ago after similar accusations led to the resignation of his predecessor, Rev. Okpoti Botwe as the move by members of KOSSA remains the the second time staff of the Hospital have demanded the resignation of their CEO.
