NPP Slams Mahama Over ''Arrogance'' Towards Corruption Report

Director of Communications of the main opposition New Patriotic Party, Nana Akomea has slammed the president over his recent stance against reports of corruption by a survey conducted by UK-based Transparency International which ranked Ghana the second most corrupt state in West Africa.

President Mahama in a speech on global anti-corruption inn Accra denounced reports by Transparency International over Ghana's under-performance in the fight against corruption.

The report by Transparency International  released in December suggested that Ghana is only second to South Africa in terms of corruption perception.
