Recently suspended 2nd Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Sammy Crabbe has insisted he still remains at post as the 2nd Vice Chairman of the party and that claims of his suspension should not be regarded unless legal procedures are followed by the National Executive Committee.
Mr. Crabbe, who is perceived as an ally to Paul Afoko, was suspended together with General Secretary Kwabena Agyepong. Sammy Crabbe has been accused of disrespecting party decisions in support of suspended National Chairman, Paul Afoko. He also stands accused for refusing to appear before the committee after several invitations.
The sanctions were recommended by the party’s disciplinary committee following petitions filed by party executives over the misconduct of the two after they openly questioned the party’s decision to suspend its national chairman Paul Afoko. The indefinite suspension of Sammy Crabbe and Kwabena Agyepong adds up to being the third suspension in less than three months by the party’s disciplinary committee.
