Entertainment Round Up From 7th To 12 Of December, 2015

This week saw many Ghanaians throwing their weight behind Ghana’s representatives at the 2015 X factor.

Reggie ‘N’ Bollie received massive support the world over. In a tough competition  that saw them sail through to the finals,  the duo  who came second  competed with  17 -years –old, Louisa Johnson, who   emerged as the  winner  of  the  2015 X Factor,

Though the two did not win, many people applauded them and sent them congratulatory messages the world over.

This week also witnessed an update in the Asamoah Gyan and Sarah Kwablah saga. There was a press conference with Lawyer Maurce Ampaw, Sarah and her mother, where Sarah’s mother called Asamoah Gyan, a beast for raping her daughter. As the week was ending news went viral that Sarah Kwablah had set a  trap for Asamoah Gyan due to her act of sending nude pictures of herself to the Captain, an act which is intended to dupe the Black Stars  Captain.

The week in review also saw Rocky Dawuni being nominated for Grammy awards and his nomination was received with congratulatory messages from MUSIGA and his fans from the world over

Lastly, the week in review in the entertainment world saw Abraham Attah,  the young  actor from the “Beast of No Nation” movie who  won the Marcello Mastroianni’s Best Young Actor Award at the 72nd Venice International Film Festival this year get nominations for  the Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) and National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Awards.

The awards ceremony will be held come January and February 2016 respectively.
