Nana Addo Condemns Mahama For Causing The 'Hardships' Of Ghanaians

Flag-bearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo has argued that President John Dramani Mahama is solely to be blamed for the economic crisis in Ghana.

The outburst by the NPP flagbearer follows recent developments in Ghana's economic and socio-economic policies considering the continuous plunge in the cedi, the fall in investor confidence, double digit inflationary rates, the energy crisis which has all culminated to the rise in the cost if living. In the meantime, Government has reveals plans are far advanced neutralizing the damaging effect of the weakening economy considering the macro-economic program with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) the emergence of the power barge among others.

Stating his plans for economic prosperity, Nana Addo reveals he would make good use of the country's resources to foster unified growth and development.

The Amenfi West by-election is expected to be held on December 15, 2015 with all four political parties contesting. The parties are – National Democratic Congress (NDC), Progressive People’s Party (PPP), New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the United Freedom Party (UFP). The four candidates are Abraham Kwadwo Buadee, a 41-year-old accountant for the PPP, Paul Derkyi, 43 a lawyer, contesting on the ticket for the NPP, Elvis Adjei, a 30-year-old Loan Administrator for the UFP and Eric Afful, 41-year-old Economist representing the NDC.
