Mac Manu To Lead NPP’s Election 2016 Campaign Team

Baring any change in plan, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will announce former National Chairman, Peter Mac Manu as the leader of the party’s campaign team for the 2016 elections.

The decision was made after a meeting of the National Council members of the party Wednesday.

The NC according to sources endorsed the flagbearer, Nana Addo’s nomination.

Also Member of Parliament (MP) for Okere, Dan Botwe who is a former General Secretary is expected to be named as a member of the campaign team.

Other members of the NPP 2016 campaign team are: former Chief Executive of Data Bank, Ken Ofori Atta, Boakye Agyarko and John Boadu.

Confirming the news to the media Deputy General Secretary of the party, Obiri Boahen,

The party will inaugurate the campaign team for the 2016 elections in Sunyani this weekend. The campaign team is tasked with the responsibility of supervising the party's campaign activities to ensure victory in the 2016 elections.
