Mourinho Plans Not To Go On Sabbatical

Jose Mourinho has released a statement through his commercial Agency, CAA in which he stated that he was sacked by Chelsea and he is ready to get back into management at the earliest opportunity.

The 52 year former Chelsea manager has been replaced by Guus Huddink who has been confirmed as the interim manager by the club. Mourinho who at one time defended his legion from the rabbit ears of the press has released the following statement following his sacking on the famous Thursday.

Jose was rewarded with a four-year extension contract after leading them to the Premier League title and League Cup last season.

However, Chelsea struggled this season and managed to take only four points from the last 21 available to them, with a whooping nine defeats in the opening 16 games.

It was his second stint with the club when he took over in June 2013.
