Miss Spain Emerges Winner Of Miss World 2015

A 23-year-old professional model from Barcelona, Spain was on Saturday crowned Miss World 2015 out of 113 other women who competed after controversy of Ms Lebanon deserving to win the crown.

Mireia Lalaguna Royo, won the international beauty pageant, which took place on Saturday in Sanya, China amidst controversy.

Ahead of the event,Miss Canada was banned by China for speaking up about human rights abuses in China and was neatly left out of the show. The beauty queen who was denied entry into China for the pageant was quietly removed from the Miss World website and not mentioned in the show.

Miss Spain won the famous beauty pagent, and England didn't even get a look in Scotland and Northern Ireland made the Top Ten, while England didn't even make the Top 20.

Mireia Lalaguna, the 23-year-old Spanish Model won after winning Top Model and giving an impressive speech in which she said "Just because I am beautiful on the outside does not mean I am not beautiful on the inside, too."

Other winners were Miss Russia, Sofia Nikitchuk, 22, placed second, while Miss Indonesia, Maria Harfanti, 23, came in third place. Miss Jamaica, Sanneta Myrie, 24, and Miss Lebanon, Valerie Abou Chacra, 23, were in the top five.

Miss Spain has a degree in Pharmacology and wants to do a MA in Nutrition.
