Railway Workers Finally Strike Over Delayed Salaries

All workers at the Ghana Railway Company have withdrew all passenger services from Accra to Tema and Accra to Nsawam as they impress on government to pay their their three months salary arrears before the end of the year 2015.

Meanwhile, workers say they are bound to resume to their posts only if government meet their demands which includes:

1) The payment of full salaries from October to December 2015.

2) The immediate dissolution of board of directors of the company.

3) A guarantee that salaries will be paid at the end of the month.

4) Salary adjustments for railway workers.
