2016 Elections To End In A Run-Off Between Mahama And Nana Addo

Political analyst, Kwasi Amakye has predicted that the 2016 elections would end up into a run-off between the major political parties the incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Should the political prediction come true, the run-off would add up as the third following the 2008 election run-off of the 28th December between Akufo-Addo (NPP) and John Atta Mills (NDC) who respectively garnered  49.13 % and 47.92 % of the votes on 7 December not forgetting that of 28 December 2008. In the meantime, Ghana's political tension is reported to have risen as both candidates of the incumbent NDC and main opposition NPP are doing everything possible to cling on to power in the elections.
