AG Submits Report On Controversial Bus Re-branding Deal To Chief Of Staff

The attorney general, Marietta Brew Appiah-Oppong has finally submitted a full report on the controversial Gh¢3.6 million government bus re-branding deal to the chief of staff, Julius Debrah.

The submission follows an order by the chief of staff following ravaging public outcry over the deal which is feared to be marred with corruption.

In a letter dated December 17, 2015 Julius Debrah directed the attorney general to further investigate the matter to ensure due process was followed.

So far, it remains unclear what is contained in the report from the AG as expectations have it that President Mahama could effect major decisions surrounding the report.
