Power Minister Announces End To Load Shedding Programme

Power Minister Announces End To Load Shedding Programme

The Ministry of Power wishes to inform the public that its Load Shedding programme in respect of electricity supply has been brought to an end, a statement from the ministry has stated.

According to a statement signed by the Head-Public Affairs, for the Minister, Kweku Sersah-Johnson the Power Ministry is grateful for the tolerance of Ghanaians during the difficult times.

Ghanaians have been experiencing stable supply of power [electricity] throughout the Christmas holidays.

The announcement is timely and significant as Ghanaians were eagerly looking forward to the resignation of the Power Minister Dr. Kwabena Donkor, who had repeatedly promised to resign by the end of the year if load shedding or ‘dumsor’ persists.
