Gov't To Decide On Whether To Sack Power Minister By End Of Day, December 31

Reports do indicate that President Mahama has offered the minister of power, Dr. Kwabena Donkor to either resign or get sacked from office following conflicting reports regarding the official statement on the end of the load shedding exercise.

According to reports from Starr FM online, Dr. Kwabena Donkor has until the end of the day, December 31 to be decided upon whether or not he would be retained.

Early on, the power minister in a statement explained that the load shedding exercise was over as head of the Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCO), William Amuna explained the power crisis was likely to end.

Ghana’s protracted energy crisis is feared to have crippled several businesses as the impact of the crisis is documented to have cost the nation huge losses in terms of work output and business confidence.
