Palm Wine Tapper Commits Suicide In The Eastern Region

A palm wine tapper by named Kwesi Davor, has committed suicide at Jukwa, a suburb of Begoro in the Fanteakwa District of the Eastern Region.

According to reports, the lifeless body of the palm wine tapper was found hanging on a tree in his farm Sunday afternoon after informing his family that he was going to look for foodstuff.

Even though circumstances leading to his death are unknown, some residents said, the palm wine tapper  had a misunderstanding with his wife before going to the farm.

Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Begoro hospital mortuary for further investigations by the police.

According to sources, the deceased, believed to be in his late 40s, is married with four children, two currently in Koforidua and the other two staying with him in Begoro.
